Software and Firmware updates will be applied to the hosts in our Ceph distributed storage cluster to help ensure maximum reliability and efficiency, these updates will be applied by the Hardware Vendor (SoftIron).
These works will be completed outside of normal hours over two nights, beginning at 5pm on Tuesday 26th March 2024. Window Start : 2024-03-26 17:00 AEDT (2024-03-26 06:00 UTC) Window End : 2024-03-27 01:00 AEDT (2024-03-26 14:00 UTC)
The Ceph storage cluster is built for high availability and can normally sustain multiple offline hosts without any impact. Our S3, RBD, Ceph and some NFS services operate from this distributed storage cluster.
During this maintenance, each host is being updated one at a time and there should be no disruption, however, please open a case with our support team if you experience any issues.
