Overview: Equinix will be conducting scheduled maintenance on power systems supporting our racks within the SY1 data centre. These works are part of Equinix’s annual maintenance program and are designed to ensure continued reliability and high operational standards across the facility.
The focus of this maintenance is on the STS (Static Transfer Switch) systems in rooms A1, A2, and A3.
Expected Impact: Power - Utility power will remain in use throughout the works. - Loads will be transferred between alternate UPS-protected sources as required. - Redundancy will be reduced at times during transitions between systems. Cooling - Cooling infrastructure will remain fully operational with no loss of redundancy expected.
Additional Details: Maintenance will be performed on one system at a time to avoid disruption.
This activity is fully scripted and managed by Equinix engineers, with support from system vendors and service providers.
No service interruptions are anticipated; however, we will be closely monitoring all systems for the duration of the maintenance window.
