Emergency Maintenance - Sydney Firewall Cluster

During the hours of 1-5AM on the 7th of July, engineers will be performing maintenance on our Sydney firewall cluster to work around a software bug.

Due to the HA configuration of the cluster, one unit will undergo maintenance while the other takes over forwarding duty. There will be up to two failover events during this window, which may cause a brief disruption to traffic through the firewall, with each lasting a few seconds. Customers with special configurations using dynamic routing protocols may see slightly longer failover times due to the timers built into the protocol.
