Description:
Servers Australia network engineers have been alerted to VPLS issue that is affecting customers, in the Vocus Sydney Data Centre.

We believe this is caused by a recent Extreme Networks firmware bug.
A patch has been released for the firmware, and engineers will be rolling this out at 1AM (EST) 26/07/2017.

We expect customers will experience up to five minutes of complete downtime, while the patch is applied and the switch is rebooted.

Engineers have successfully completed the second reboot and connectivity should now be restored.

Engineers have run into an issue which will require a second reboot of this switch.

Customers will experience another period of up to five minutes downtime while this switch is reloaded. This will be commencing at 0130.

Updates will be provided once connectivity has been restored.
